Hard to pick a favorite. Since immigration was a top issue for me, i am extremely happy with the efforts to round up illegal criminal aliens. So far, 460 have been arrested in the first two days. And, most of these people are horrible. I truly cannot understand why Biden didn't do something. He knew these people were in our country, yet he ignored them. And, the leaders in these sanctuary cities should be ashamed. Many of these people were arrested and released back into the community.

SNEAK PEEK: We embedded exclusively w/ ICE Boston today as they targeted egregious criminal aliens. We witnessed 8 arrests, including multiple MS-13, Interpol Red Notices, murder & rape suspects, & a volatile Haitian gang member w/ 18 convictions in recent years who told our cameras he “ain’t going back to Haiti” and “f**k Trump, Biden forever!”.

We also witnessed a “collateral” arrest, where ICE arrested an illegal alien who wasn’t their initial target - but was with a MS-13 gang member who had been released by a sanctuary jurisdiction yesterday with an ICE detainer not honored. These collateral arrests are something that border czar Tom Homan has warned would happen in sanctuary jurisdictions. At one point, a woman yelled out “thank you” to ICE as a violent illegal alien was being arrested in her neighborhood.

Fake news! Im sure they rounded them up, but I don’t believe anything they say about them. It’s all posturing.

Of course you don't. You just don't want to admit that Biden was totally asleep at the wheel when it came to these criminal aliens. It was truly an abdication of duty.

Vance said he lied about Haitians eating pets to feed the hangry masses, and now we’re supposed to believe that these baddies are murderers and rapists and gang members. Mmmkay.

This!

No he didn’t say that.

During a Sunday interview on CNN, the Ohio senator and Republican vice presidential nominee said his evidence for this claim was "the first-hand accounts of my constituents."

How you love your inconvenient facts! You forgot in that very same interview he said he felt the need “to create stories so that the … media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people”

HE LIED. You know it. I know it. He knows it. The Haitians know it. Homer Simpson knows it.

My personal favs are steering us toward an imminent recession with his policies and all but guaranteeing Dems take back the House and Senate in 2 years.

Who does this appeal to?

Nobody except big pharma.

It will negatively impact all voters.

It’s hard to tell if he merely wanted to overturn it bc it was done by Biden (which makes Trump a petulant child) or if he’s pandering to Big Pharma (which makes him evil).

He pardoned Ross Ulbricht, the Silk Road guy. That’s cool, the head of the party of QAnon pardon a guy who sold child porn and used hit men.

Why can't it be both?

Scientific reality for ya: at conception, all of us are female. Enjoy that.

(d) “Female” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell.

(e) “Male” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the small reproductive cell.

All medical schools and residency programs receiving any form of federal funding or enrolling students who receive federal educational assistance shall only refer to "the large reproductive cell" and "the small reproductive cell."

Why??? they could not say ovum and sperm?

He has had a terrific start. Even his most ardent supporters like me can admit that, at times, his first term was meandering and unfocused, though unquestionably successful. (For example, before Trump, I don’t think anyone seriously thought that Roe could ever get overturned.)

But if the first two days of the second term are any indication, this is going to be a highly effective presidency. The onslaught of executive orders has been truly a sight to behold. I mean, he revoked LBJ’s Executive Order 11246, which was one of the starting points of affirmative action and discriminatory hiring practices in this country—this was an order from 1965! He appears to truly be working to right many of the systemic injustices deep-rooted in society, not simply tinkering on the edges. (And I am happy about Executive Order 11246 despite being a minority because I don’t doubt my ability to succeed, even on a level playing field.)

This has been truly inspirational—I’ve been glued to my TV and X trying to keep up with it all. What have been your favorite early accomplishments?

Yes, we know "minority" people who are not black are happy. This is what you voted for.

How do you explain his black supporters, as there are quite a few? And who exactly is a “minority”, in your eyes? So not really a minority?

For me, personally, it has to be the EO renaming Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America.

That was one the number one most burning issues in my mind since, well forever. I can't believe he didn't have this brilliance during his first term. Must have been saving it for just the right time.

Look out New Mexico, because your next!

Incisive political prognosticating from the same people who were sure Kamala would win the presidency and prevail even in a red state like Iowa.

(Spoiler alert: Trump actually won the popular vote, the electoral college, including all seven swing states, and the state of Iowa by 13.5 points.)

Assuming that you are for real, and not just trolling the people unhappy with Trump's election (if you are, nice job), you clearly are new to the DCUM Political Forum. Any post that is conservative or pro-Trump will be slammed over and over like a pinata, as proven by this thread.

But personally, I agree with you that Trump is doing a lot of great stuff in his first few days, and my favorite is the Lake Riley Act, which clamps down on illegals who commit crimes. It passed the Senate and the House and is about to be signed by Trump. Even people who argue that "innocent" illegals should be allowed to stay in the country, ought to agree that people who have come into the country illegally who commit crimes should be on a fast track back to their own country.

Is that something that everyone, whether liberal or conservative, can agree on?

I, for one, applaud him for declaring himself our first female president.

The only thing that Trump is great at is continually finding new ways to fleece his idiot supporters and extort foreign governments and wealthy amoral jackasses to bribe him in exchange for corrupt actions. Everything he does has a corrupt payoff to him personally. His complete lack of any ethical or moral standards is as astonishing as the stupidity of his supporters.

This is a good one.
