What is the story with this? Who is finding all these college results and posting them? I’m confused as to how all these are just publicly posted on instagram… |
They are indeed publicly posted on instagram and something that kids have been doing for years. Most are not "officially" sanctioned by the school but, as you can see, it's across nearly all schools. |
Usually the school's student council runs the insta page. |
I’ve never heard of anything like this. Does this happen in pretty much every metro area of the country or just striver DC? |
Whoever is in charge of the Jackson Reed Insta page ought to go back and check their page...they really didn't make the school look good. |
what do you mean? |
That’s only 58 out of 244. Most haven’t posted yet. |
I admittedly haven’t read all the previous posts, but in case it hasn’t been said before, quite a few kids at each high school don’t post their college choice on the class Instagram pages.
Posting a student’s name, photo, current school, high school activities, and college choice on a public Instagram page isn’t a great idea from a privacy and personal security perspective. |
Then you must have just crawled out from under a rock. You can find IG pages, run by students, from private and public schools from every metro area (eg, NYC, LA, SF, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, etc). EVERY major city. |
The thread says PRIVATES. There is already a thread with publics.any on the is forum are only interested in other privates. |
Small class of 82 girls- these results are amazing. Many others with Ivy and top 25 schools have still not posted yet. |
