I'm a prude so take it with some grains of salt but music industry has changed since MTV and rap wave. Over-sexualization of music and dance happened under influence of these pervert sex addicts and society welcomed it as creative gospel.
Just like drug lords, these are music lords who are gatekeepers and can ask for your voice, body, first born or mental health for an entry and for business.
Why the heck every singer needs to wear underwear and/or have two dozen semi nude dancers and put on a sex show to get a hit song in this industry?
Imagine if these people were gays or trans, what an uproar would that be but no these are your straight "respectable" and influential family men with teen children of their own.
