This American Life had a really interesting episode on this today. One segment was on a woman who had to completely hide her vote for Harris from her husband…

It was a top.google search for awhile. Not sure why Trump supporters think it's not a thing at all.

And as far as I am concerned, I would rather ask someone what their salary is before I ask them their vote. Ask them what their confession was, before I ask them their vote. What their birthday wish was before they blow out the candles, before their vote. Their weight, before vote……

Get it- all things you don’t ask people.

It’s astounding that Democrats seem to have no filter or understanding of common etiquette.

It's astounding that Republicans seem to have no understanding that if you're going to strip away 50 years of fundamental rights from someone, asking about it is not a matter of etiquette.

Good grief. Seek help.

So you don't think the right to manage one's own body is fundamental?

It wasn’t fundamental with the Biden vaccine mandate

Vaccines are about public health. You need to get to herd immunity and that takes the vast majority receiving vaccines. So yes, your decision not to get a vaccine affects me.

My decision to terminate a pregnancy for whatever reason has absolutely no bearing on your wellbeing and everything on mine.

Well when you could just resign from your federal job or contractor positions? Is not like Biden has imprisoning people unlike you all.

It’s not common etiquette. You only feel that way because someone taught you to think that way for THEIR own benefit.

I am the OP here and I am going to 100% agree with you here. Let’s throw that pesky common etiquette out the door just because someone else told me not to do it. F that I say, you are right!

I am begging you to show me how to do this and buck that BS etiquette thing. Soooo,
I am going to ask you to set the example here! Please go ahead and post for me your:
Full name
SSN#
Address
Banking info
All online passwords
Complete health history

I mean SOMEONE at some point TOLD you not to do this, they must have had their own agenda, they were NOT looking out for you, your privacy, the fact that it might be the socially wise thing to do…….

Which hospital or doctor strapped you on a gurney against your will to administer the shot?

Nope. So my Republican husband is voting for Harris.

That is what he tells you.

I’m not worried, unlike the MAGABROS crying online about it! 😂

Including their leader

We all know who Melania is voting for.

No, Melanie is voting for Trump. She is also a terrible person. Why do people keep making up a back story to suggest otherwise?

No. He has always voted R and that’s fine even thought I’ve always voted D. But if he voted for Trump, I would 100% divorce him. Trump is not a normal candidate. He’s personally offensive, a traitor, and has zero leadership skills or concern for anyone other than himself. I judge anyone who votes for him as morally bankrupt or stupid.

But when he voted for GWB, who killed hundreds of thousands of brown people and tortured people to line Halliburton’s coffers, that was just fine with you, huh?

Torturers and war criminals are fine, just not the Big Bad Orange Meanie…and this is what is wrong with the “Democrats” on here.

R and D used to just disagree on things like military spending and foreign policy - just like that. He fought in some of those wars btw. Surely you are aware that men and women often disagree on war and military spending.

Yes, Trump IS different. He’s the first felon, traitor, and fascist to run for office. Trump isn’t a pacifist, he just prefers taking personal bribes from our adversaries to look the other way.

I’ve been saying that I can’t wait for us to get back to arguing over the marginal tax rate and the appropriate level of regulation for companies.
