Why would Taylor Swift miss Travis Kelce’s 35th birthday over the weekend?

Anonymous
To add to the Taylor is bi theory…. The first time I heard “Betty” I was convinced it was about a secret high school lesbian courtship (but then I was disappointed when the name of the antagonist was clearly male). I wonder if it was supposed to be a different song about young gay lust.

Sent from heaven to do Gods work touch by the hands of an angel with genius and generosity. She should have been called Jesus-ina.

Why would an up and coming young actor want a 35 year old woman? She's not as attractive as she used to be. Her face and body is filling out. Looking at her mother, she's not meant to stay thin.

Oh come on. She's gorgeous.

She really is. And looking even better as she gets older.

She has always been pretty. However, her face is often bloated now and her body is staring to resemble Beyonce’s, and I don’t mean that as a compliment.
In addition to needing a very successful, wealthy man to keep a balance in the relationship, she now needs a big guy too. All her past boyfriends look too small and slim next to current sized Taylor (and they are hot men). She would overpower someone like Harry Styles, John Mayer or Matty Healy.

Oh no, people's bodies change as they get older, whatever shall we do? Guess what? Those men's bodies will be changing, too.

Because she’d rather be spending her time in Matty Healy’s bed, and the alternative is too painful to put up with. Hence the non-stop drinking.

I bet it’s refreshing for her to date an athlete and not an artist. Wouldn’t you prefer to be with someone who has different interests? And there’s no competition between them and their careers.

-1. I would be miserable with someone dumber than me. I crave intellectual stimulation and shared interests. Someone who “teaches me a language I can’t speak with anyone else.” That’s the stuff of an epic love story, and once you’ve had it, all else pales in comparison.

She’s never dated anyone particularly intellectual

Joe seemed pretty educated and willingly to learn

What are you basing that on? We’ve barely heard him speak.

His mother seems like a piece of work. When asked by the media how it was like meeting Taylor Swift, she said “It was ok”.

JFC that was like a year ago and fully explained. What is the matter with you people? Do you just hate happiness or something? You’re frickin miserable. Lighten up already.

I like that response. She’s not a 15 year old fan girl.

Billionaires don't need to sit through football games for money.

Exactly. Too funny. She doesn’t need to do a single thing for money, ever again. Someone let the PP know.

Ehhh, she's a pretty shameless money grabber who doesn't hesitate to milk her fans who worship her. All the variations of her songs and albums, all the merch, movies, never-ending tour.

Are you ok? You need to calm down. You’re being too loud.

What a hackneyed comeback.

Perfect response to a hackneyed troll who just repeats the same garbage over and over.

So the PP saying Taylor is money grabbing with her variants is repeating garbage and is a hackney response.

You understand that you using quotes from songs 5 years old over and over again is a hackneyed response

BUT Taylor rereleasing the same music through Taylor’s versions and variants is _______ (creative, new, sparkling in purple instead of pink?) even though it boils down to the same thing over and over.

Swiftie logic doesn’t logic.

It's so funny how she lives rent-free in your head. I love that she triggers you so.

Honestly, if that is what you believe and you take pleasure from insulting people and enjoy laughing at their perceived pain, I’m sorry.

Are you the person who said this? "Ehhh, she's a pretty shameless money grabber who doesn't hesitate to milk her fans who worship her." Maybe take a good, hard look in the mirror one of these days.

I’m not, but the person you quoted did not personally attack another poster or laugh and make fun of anyone or take joy in someone else’s pain on this site. They had an opinion about Taylor that you disagreed with. She isn’t in this site and isn’t posting here.

You DID express that you took joy in someone else’s pain. And truly I'm sorry that is how you feel.

There is a difference between attacking an idea or living a negative opinion about celebrity who would never read this at all. versus personally attacking a person who is a poster.

There is also a difference between discussing ideas and taking joy in someone’s pain. You were clear about where you stood.

What on earth did I just read?? OMG. I am dying. You do take yourself oh-so-seriously, don't you? I've bolded what I said. I'm so terribly sorry that it caused you this much distress and trauma - and PAIN - and I hope you're able to heal without too much therapy.

+ a million
Hopefully that poster was being satirical. Because the melodrama was so incredibly cringeworthy...

What are on about? Thin men can stay thin into old age. Taylor’s mother suggest’s the clock was always ticking on thin Taylor. At nearly 35 she’s over the hill.

Yup exactly the bolded-‘I love that she triggers you so.’ You enjoy when other people feel bad. Sorry that is hard for you to deal with and you need to lash out at others when it is pointed out to you!
