Why is everyone so convinced she didn’t see him on his birthday? All we know is that she didn’t attend his charity car show. Which makes sense given her security needs, plus an obvious desire to not make a charity thing about Taylor Swift.

I think this was a fake relationship all along, and he leaked that contract (a breakup negotiation?) to extend things into the season.

I think it’s time we all admit the truth of the persistent rumors that all of her straight relationships are PR contracts.

I didn’t believe the rumors until this Travis Kelce situation. Travis Kelce loves PDA and had never been seen with a woman who was Black and hotter than Venus until suddenly he was “with” Taylor Swift in this weird asexual-looking dynamic.

It’s a contract and when the contractual period lapses, they will go their separate ways. As we can see, the contract was a big win for both. Travis is a fame whore who wants to be an A-lister, increase the pay rate on his endorsements, and set up his post-football retirement. Taylor wants to maintain her image as a relevant, relatable, aspirational cultural icon who every girl wants to be. (Coming out as a lesbian whose retrograde mentality kept her in the closet way too long tarnishes the brand…and she’s not going to let the truth get in the way of the career that is her everything.)

Personally, I think Travis will go on to another PR relationship with a white America’s sweetheart type of megastar. Now that he’s discovered how the right PR situationship is worth more than 10 years of back-breaking hustle, he’s not going to look back. But when he believes his brand is strong enough for him to remain A list by himself, he’ll go back to the Black women he’s exclusively attracted to.

It’s precisely because she’s running out of A-list men that she had to go for a football player. Travis Kelce is good looking and has a bad boy flair that freshens and updates her image. That’s good enough until an A-lister willing to enter a contract relationship can be found.
