I’m the PP who pointed out she had been a popular YouTuber 15 years ago.
I work in social media, and I’ve seen how wanting views and attention warps people into behaving pretty weirdly. The vast majority of people who found a rug would either just dig it up themselves, or if they thought there could be a body, wouldn’t live-stream it and post constant updates. Given that she had a bunch of lead up talking about how she thought her house was haunted, I think this rug was either planted, or she knew about it way before, built up suspense by talking about her house being haunted (it’s not), then “discovering” the rug. People get addicted to the attention and behave more and more strangely to get views. A normal person would not turn this into a multi-episode drama. |
Obviously they will have to bring the dogs to make sure. If they didn't would be accused of not investigating. She needs to be held responsible. |
She did find a buried rug? You think she moved in, planted a rug, placed a tree on top of it and then uncovered it months later? |
100% |
Agee with you 100% people who don't work on the industry are so trusting its scary |
PP. Yea, pretty much everything is staged at this point. I remember doing content for a wellness creator who would binge drink for a week straight and make a video about how she was on a juice cleanse using the OJ she was mixing vodka with. Any of those videos where someone happens to catch something crazy in public - 99% staged. |
So basically this is Balloon Boy, Part Deux. |
It is extremely rare now for anything to be real. I don't believe pretty much anything I see online however there are a lot of gullible people out there and a lot of dumber people who use no critical thinking. |
Her TikTok account got hacked |
And deep faked. |
Dog two would know where dog one went. Maybe dog two followed the scent path of dog one. |
I would buy all of that but what is the explanation for the cadaver dogs both hitting on the area? She couldn't really control that. That is how this all blew up in the first place. She didn't livestream the digging, but yes she did livestream the dogs at the house. She is definitely ready for primetime though. I agree. |
