Travis Kelce and his brother are pitching Lucky Charms, wtaf, the kids' cereal. Why? Taylor Swift, that's why.
I stand by that Travis leaked that scheduled breakup plan to stop her from breaking up with him. Dating her is profitable for him. |
Tix for Indianapolis!!! Woohoo!! |
Absolutely, I mentioned this in the Chappell Roan thread. |
I have no opinion on the "breakup plan" other than it's probably a hoax. However regarding the Kelces and their fame: I have never seen the kind of wall to wall exposure that Travis and Jason are currently getting in NFL-adjacent media with any football player ever. Not Peyton or Tom Brady or Jerry Rice. Of course they all had (and have) major spokeman deals but when I was watching football yesterday literally every other commercial featured Travis or Jason or both. It was kind of amazing. And look they are both great football players. Kelce got an SNL hosting gig before he started dating Taylor and their podcast was very popular. But this is next level. And neither is a QB. Jason was a center. That's not a high profile position. Travis is in a much more high profile role and he's very elite plus has multiple SB rings so he'd be famous without Taylor for sure. But there is NO WAY they'd be getting paid like they currently are without her. I don't really have a point here other than to just say that this relationship will have wound up being unbelievably financially profitable for the Kelce family. Like make them millions of dollars they would never have gotten without it. It's crazy to think about. Especially when women are so much more likely to be accused of riding coattails and exploiting men for money. This is a bizarrely profitable relationship. |
Taylor knows to shut up and write edgy emotional anthems that Millenials and Gen Z can cry to. It's her superfans who whine when people don't like Taylor because that's an affront to their Messiah. |
+1 She's blamed when she goes and now blamed when she doesn't go. So absurd. |
Yeah because he's been objectively worse. He has zero touchdowns this season. |
might it possibly be because he is a bit long in the tooth for a tight end? |
I don't recall her complaining about that. Why are you making things up? DP |
I think she’s confusing Taylor with Chappell Roan. |
You are a loon. |
Loon again. Seek help. |
Do you not know football? 35 not old for a tight end. Tight ends are older than most. Why? After your catching te days are over you still have 3-5 years as a blocking te. |
Do you even understand the game of football? He is a 35 year old tight end in the twilight of his career. Peak age for that position is 25-30. A tight end is a hybrid position, meaning that receiving the ball and scoring is only part of what the position is responsible for. Blocking for the runner or receiver is also a big part of the position. Common sense should tell you that a 35 year old has lost some speed, and it is completely normal for a team to utilize their younger, faster receivers for scoring, especially early in the season. That does not diminish his value to the team, as he showed yesterday. In no way does it have anything to do with Taylor Swift, and whether she is or isn’t at the game. |
| Hasn’t anyone listened to Coach Reid? Travis is getting double and triple teamed so they’re having to utilize other receivers. |
