Yes! I saw him over the summer and really enjoyed him as did my 11 year old.

Saw him as an opener for Niall Horan. My teen DD came home obsessed and kept his songs on regular rotation in our kitchen Alexa this summer. I’ve become a fan as well.

I'm guessing you also have regulation issues.

Or maybe she won’t. Gen z is like this at work- they just don’t feel like coming in some days so they call out. or don’t bother to tell people they aren’t taking a job. They realize employers won’t take care of them and owe them nothing. I guess the reverse side of the idea that corporations are people is that we are taking social cues from the way corporations treat people and going commitment-less. Everyone cancels things without warning. The kids may be right though- the world is less stable with climate change, pandemics etc and we all have to get used to cancellations.

I read it as a shot across the bow for Roan to not pull any diva sh#t when she performs on SNL. DO YOUR JOB.

NP. Seriously. The insane “HER REAL NAME IS KAYLEIGH” people are quite something. Do you not understand like the entire history of performers in the world.

I agree people are crazy but I feel like performers need to be a little more professional here. Concert tickets are so expensive now and some people bought airline tickets to fly in from places where she isn’t performing. It just sucks not to take that into consideration, or I guess not really care that you fans are now just out what might have been considerable money for them—-young people that worked all summer saving up money for this big splurge. If she can’t handle the social media crazies, she should just disengage from that. Or, alternatively, she should just shake it off, because, as a wise woman once said, haters gonna hate, hate, hate. (I know TS gets a lot of shit but she does really have some good advice for her generation.)

Especially since Chappelle was out at a bar in the east Village in New York Friday night!

This certainly doesn’t bode well for the future. These people need to get their heads out of their asses.

We are so fked. Young people have no resilience these days. They wear their mental health on their sleeve. I blame Tik Tok and Internet culture, body positivity and wokeness among other things.
