Why because they’re Jewish?

Because every armed group has its own handwriting, and Hamas’ has never included rape. I’m sure there was opportunistic rape but I don’t believe rape was premeditated or used az a weapon.

DP. Your handwriting appears to be stupidity.

Two United Nations human rights experts said on Jan. 8, 2024, that there was growing evidence of Hamas’ use of sexual violence against people on Oct. 7, 2023 – and that the attacks on civilians likely amount to crimes against humanity.

“As armed Palestinian groups rampaged through communities in Israel bordering the Gaza strip, thousands of people were subjected to targeted and brutal attacks, the vast majority of whom were civilians,” Alice Jill Edwards, an independent expert on torture, and Morris Tidball-Binz, an expert on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, said in a statement. “The growing body of evidence about reported sexual violence is particularly harrowing.”

The United Nations, women’s groups and human rights groups previously faced criticism for not quickly condemning Hamas fighters for raping and sexually violating Israelis during the Oct. 7, 2023, attack.

There is strong evidence that Hamas committed sexual violence, including eyewitnesses’ and first responders’ testimony, medical assessments of released hostages and independent investigations from media outlets such as The New York Times. This includes rape, gang rape, sexual torture and sexual mutilation of Israelis of diverse genders and ages.

"First responders"? You mean the ZAKA thugs? The men who gave us the legend of forty babies and pregnant women sliced open?

The NYT piece on rape was debunked and its writer fired.

But don't let the facts interfere with a good story.

So ONE anecdote was called into question, and you're actually insisting all of the other reporting about sexual atrocities was fake? No one is talking about ZAKA, your apparent obsession. The UN has confirmed the rapes. You truly need some meds and/or therapy. Maybe join Propaganda Anonymous?

In this case, there is a large volume of evidence to indicate that Hamas carried out sexual assaults during the October 7 attack. But the Times, by opening its story with an anecdote later called into question by the victim’s family, along with the troubling actions of a freelancer, has left critics with plenty of material to sow doubt.

ZAKA is what the media called "first responders", without bothering to clarify they have no coronary or investigative qualifications.

That wasn't in the way of them telling tales to the media replicated thousands of times around the world in the first few weeks after Oct. 7.

Be honest and admit how much rage the utterly, totally manufactured story of forty beheaded babies has generated. Admit it.

Funny how you can't bear to admit all of the other confirmations:

There is strong evidence that Hamas committed sexual violence, including eyewitnesses’ and first responders’ testimony, medical assessments of released hostages and independent investigations from media outlets such as The New York Times. This includes rape, gang rape, sexual torture and sexual mutilation of Israelis of diverse genders and ages.

You are aware that the NYT "independent investigation" was debunked and its writer fired? Are you?

You really are a crazy person.

This claim, however, is false. Check Your Fact reviewed The New York Times article and did not find any corrections or retractions stating that Hamas never raped or sexually violated anyone on October 7. The outlet has not visibly updated its article, nor does it appear that any substantial changes were made since it was published on Dec. 28.

The article linked in the original post is from Mondoweiss, an anti-Zionist news website. In the article, it links to interviews and comments made by members of Gal Abdush’s family, who criticized the NYT article and denied that she was raped. The New York Times spoke extensively with Abdush’s family in its Dec. 28 article.

A New York Times spokesperson said that “we stand by our report” in an email to Check Your Fact.

“This is an important investigation that outlines multiple allegations of horrific sexual violence against women and details what is known, and still unknown, about what took place on October 7. We stand by our report and the journalists who spent months speaking with witnesses and grieving family members, including Ms. Abdush’s parents and sisters, to tell this story,” the spokesperson said.
