Robinson has this new freshman Dylan Carbaugh he seems to be their swiss army knife. I watched his highlights he is the real deal.

you aren't doing the kid any favors by posting random musings that he is an amazing player. whether it's right or wrong, everyone assumes you are his parent, or the kid himself, and he comes off as a clown. A Yorktown freshman did the same thing.

Probably one of his buddies at Robo or VLC. No chance it’s him or parents probably same with Yorktown kid.

I am not a cheerleader for Madlax, but I am happy and grateful for the rankings. Who knows if they will prove accurate, but they are not crazy and generally well researched. The bias for Madlax players does not seem especially strong. In fact, they give mention to kids who have LEFT Madlax, so they might be incentivized to "forget" to highlight them.
For what is worth, my son and his friends enjoyed reading and debating the rankings and they added to the excitement of the season.
I won't venture to guess the order, but I am thinking the top 5 will be SJC, Gonzaga, Prep, Landon, Bullis?
I don't usually say this but thanks MadLax!

Completely agree. Anything that brings more attention is good. And six publics in the top 20 (five from VA) is awesome. You definitely identified the top five. I'll say it will be 1. Prep 2. SJC, 3. Gonzaga, 4. Landon 5. Bullis

It’s awesome that Madison and Riverside are playing but it being the 1st game of the year is unfortunate. I feel like Madison over the years has started slow and lost some games that they wouldn’t have later on in the year. Still a great test for both teams early on to get them ready for their respective conference schedules .

Winning or Losing that game means nothing for either team. I would assume they both scheduled that game to make themselves better by playing against great competition. Both teams are in the same boat, both team will have early season mistakes. It will still be a great night for Northern Virginia Lacrosse. I hope they have a top tier officiating crew for that match up, and I hope both teams promote the game and get a great crowd! Our area and the players deserve that type of exposer.

Hats off to both schools for making this happen, and best of luck to all players/coaches this season.

Yeah good point. Let’s face it, Virginia public is not the best. So any positive notariety and attention a team can give us great. Love seeing kids like Stamos and Schroter doing so well at major schools and programs like Riverside and Madison having success.

I may be on my own here, please correct me if you feel differently, but I don't see Riverside even keeping it close against Madison. Madison is at home, they are bigger, faster, stronger, and better. All this talk about it being a "good game"... I just don't see it. Tell me how Riverside stops Madison's Attack. Tell me how Riverside's midfield handles Madison's LSM and scores goals after losing the Jacksonville kid.

I may be way off, but I don't think its going to happen for the Rams going to Vienna.

It should be on NFHS but Battlefield doesn’t pay for steaming so you will need a subscription.
