Just finished up last nights pots while my breakfast was cooking. The pots had soaked and I had time in the kitchen. It is very efficient. |
Ohhh i have been tempted to do this but i am such a punk. |

I do not use my turn signal if it’s clear that I have enough room to switch lanes.
When I do take out, I take extra straws, plastic spoons, plastic forks, etc. to use at home. I ask for a water cup at the movies and then fill it up with a slushy that I did not pay for. |
You guys who are making light of going 100 mph are really stupid. You will probably be fine but the risk of death in case of an accident at that speed is huge, and you really aren’t saving yourself that much time. |
I thought the carry-on in the aisle part was upon deplaning (to keep the aholes from running up to the front). |
|
I use at least one roll of paper towels a day.
I never recycle, except really big cardboard boxes. I usually forget to scan one or two items at the self-checkout. I don't return shopping carts to the corral. I never use a blinker unless I'm trying to annoy the person behind me who really wants to pass me -- then I turn on my left turn signal. Not planning to turn left, but.... |
| These posts are exactly why everything is so unpleasant these days. |
Because it's not an airplane. Every car I've driven in the past 30-40 years handles just fine at 100 mph. Some better than others but it's no big deal. |
| The Trader Joe's near me used to have free plasticware. I don't have a dishwasher and to make my life easier I buy paper bowls and plasticware. So I started taking huge handfuls of the free plasticware at Trader Joe's. I took so much that they first started saying you could only take x number, then stopped having it at all, and now have compostable that breaks. |
What are you talking about? I've hit 125 in my car on Rte 70 with the engine running about 4800 rpm. That won't kill it for brief periods. At 100 it's only about 3800-4000 rpm. If it had at least one higher gear. those rpm's could be much lower. |
Not at all. Sitting in the far left lane of a three-lane highway doing the speed limit is totally insane. |
Depending on the trip, it can save a lot of time. But, that's not typically why we do it. I'll concede that much. |
During Covid days when the highways were mostly empty, I did a 700 mile run from Illinois to Maryland in 9 hours including 3 stops for gas, food and bathroom breaks. That trip usually takes me 11 hours while driving 80-100 mph in traffic. |
| They put a stop sign up on a side street in my quiet neighborhood that was completely unnecessary. I scoffed at it when they put it up 10 years ago and vowed I’d never stop at it and I never have. |
Sorry, I wasn’t clear enough, I block the aisle when it’s time to get OFF the plane so that I am not blocked by people from behind me |
