This fits with what he’s really best at which is bringing in outside girls.

Man this board is a cesspool sometimes. DB is an excellent coach. Any program would be lucky to have him. Loudoun is better off with DB on staff. It’s a bummer for mclean to lose a talented coach who actually cares about the kids. And he learned from the best in CW.

It’s also true that McLean will carry on with a strong tradition of playing and teaching beautiful soccer. DB didn’t coach ECNL (though he could have), so mclean ECNL program will remain exceptional. As always. And good players will continue seeking out mclean for the coaching, college pathway, etc.

Is McLean still exceptional? Is it 2018?

McLean / Union is a fallen giant. Used to be exceptional, failed to keep up with the times. The future doesn't look great.

And still living in the past! Their 2007s are their last strong group with the only hope that their 2010s can keep the whole club recognized.

Union 2010 will be the only team to finish top 5 for exception Union. The whole team is SYC + LMVSC though. Really strong team but doesn’t have any McLean players.

And many of those SYC girls now have a viable alternative closer to home in SYC GA, trouble is brewing at Lewinsville

Lol - back to this. McLean is fine. Why are you so worried about what’s happening there if you are so confident in GA being the end game? In fact, there is some speculation that the GA thing will bring in MORE talent since top girls from other clubs will want to try out. More opportunity, and many of those SYC girls would still rather have an ECNL than GA. But I’m sure SYC and VRSC will have a blast playing each other. Repeatedly.

The coach of the 09's at Brave is spectacular.

Pep G. himself couldn't turn that team around.

That’s the team he picked. DD tried out when Brave formed. No offer but would have considered it. Ended up at another ecnl club. Blaming the girls he’s supposed to coach is terrible

VDA slate is CONFIRMED.

2012/2011 - AS
2010/2009 - BP (massive roster changes I predict and I bet there will be a lot of incoming FCV players there to displace current)
2008/07-06 - ML

BP would be stupid to make massive changes to the 2009s.

More likely the 10's and small changes to the 09's.

Why did DB leave McLean. Which teams at NVA is he coaching?
