As a liberal who is very worried about Youngkin and Republicans long term plans to change Virginia’s abortion laws, I am so pissed that this woman agreed to run and never once thought what might happen if this came out. I don’t care what consenting adults do in their bedroom, if they film it, if they stream it for money, if they partner swap, whatever. But if you run for public office you’re agreeing to be on a public platform and have your life be scrutinized. It’s part of the job. So if she felt so strongly about women’s health and other issues, did she ever just think maybe those videos might jeopardize my candidacy, cost me votes, hurt my chances and hurt my party?!

I don’t GAF that she’s done some weird stuff if she was my NP, but as an elected official she’s subject to bribes, blackmail, etc and this kind of stuff wouldn’t pass any security clearance (I’ve been a reference for people, I know what they ask and want to find out) and just puts her at risk. At the very least get ahead of it and say “yeah, I’m in a happy marriage and we have a sex life. That’s all” instead of playing some victim here.

I don't think she lives in Louisa. I'm pretty sure she lives in my neighborhood in Western Henrico. I don't judge what she did at all, and I don't for one second think it was for money. Also, considering that she labels her account Hotwifeexperience, she is not forcing her husband to do anything. It seems pretty obvious that this is them spicing up their sex life. You also don't really know if what she says about other guys is true or part of a fantasy.

I didn't actually vote for her in the primary, but not because I disliked her. I felt pretty evenly between the two candidates.

BUT I am annoyed that she ran for office knowing she'd done this stuff. Because if something CAN come out in politics, it will. The other candidate was also fine. While it certainly wouldn't change my vote, it might change some people's, and we can't afford to lose these races in Virginia.
