Did you ever volunteer for the mentor program? I learned so much from these (non cut throat) students. That said, I encountered the cheaters and grade grubbers in regular TA/instructor roles. |
this is some bs. Alumni donations are at an all time high by percentage and amount They should do email verification for all the fake “alums” here |
what a racist shit perspective. wtf is this place |
You keep saying this generic crap with nothing to back it up. Diversity, entering class academic profile, AND rank have been increasing for years. |
Ah yes, declining merit when graduation rates, starting salaries, test scores, high school and Hopkins GPAs are highest they have ever been This declining merit - is it in the room with you? |
Right? Brazilians are kind of similar. For college admissions, it becomes the useful grandparent. Am amazed the racial charade has been allowed to go along as long as it has. Javier at Harvard is not from the ghetto. His family probably owns most of Ecuador. |
So a useless datapoint |
Welcome to most top privates. significant amounts of student bodies upwards of 30%+ are asian at most if not all the ivies and top privates. Is that discrimination against others? No |
i’m glad alumni have gotten smarter after 27 years. They let in some dumb ones in the 90s as you see above and with lower test scores compared to peer schools back then. |
IMO, a descendant of a German (esp. Nazi) living in Argentina, claiming "Hispanic" is the irony of all ironies. A blonde/blue eyed Argentinian does not face the kind of racism in this country that a brown skinned Hispanic, Black or even Asian person would. In terms of education, historically, the URM of Hispanics were the brown skinned Latinos, not Germanic "Hispanics". It is cheating, but then, these universities are playing dumb games with race, so why not play that dumb game to your advantage. |
Is that why Jhu gets more applicants than almost all other privates by local DC schools? Yield is strong relative to peers too Meh, keep grinding that axe |
Sounds like the disgruntled writing sems TA is back. There is cheating and grade grubbing at all schools. |
That's easy - none. |
US population statistics should matter, but share of college-ready Seniors should. And Whites and Asians still make up more than 75% of that low threshold. |
+1 |
