What do you do? And what baxheors degree did you list |
I was undocumented for a long time. I am white & speak in a way that is indistinguishable from most Americans, btw. |
I work in IT management…started out as a developer though. Pretty easy field to get away with something like this as opposed to say, nursing! My major was computer science so that’s what I would list, but the AA that I got was just my generals. |
Did you go to VT? |
This is bonkers, my friend same age did the same. Finance degree. |
You must not have a vag. OOf. |
Had an affair with a married man when I was in high school. Nobody knows. |
No, i grew up and went to college in Southern California |
HR Leader here. This is the way to do it. I've seen people lie on their resumes and in job applications and when we find out we have to rescind the offer or terminate them (if after hire date). In some cases, they lie to tell us they have credentials that are not job requirements so there is literally no point. No graduate degree required? Don't tell us you have an MBA. But you did, so now you can't work here. It probably shouldn't, but it surprises me every time. You're right, the IT profession is the place to do it because after a year or two of full-time work experience after school, your experience is immensely more valuable than your education. |
A lot of online applications require all your transcripts now. I guess it was easy to not require that 20 years ago, when you’d have to wait weeks for the college to reply & mail them out. Now, you can order an official transcript & have it sent in minutes. |
What? I got a new job last year and filled out tons of online applications. I never once was asked to supply a transcript. If some place did that, I’d NOPE outta there. Who’s got time for that? |
I go to church almost daily 😎 |
I think PP means in terms of availability of partners, not physical comfort. |
My favorite biblical verse is The last verse in Ecclesiastes |
I faked my way into a college intern program for a network television program. |
