Tell me more about the School Board election process

The right is trying to indoctrinate children. They want to ban books, rewrite history, and take away the ability for teachers to teach.

I send my children to school because I am not a teacher. I want them to learn different things, not just my viewpoint or my interpretation of history. A fact is a fact, those trying to change things, are not doing it for the betterment of our communities. They’re trying to do that to impose their beliefs on everyone else.

This is a change from 2019 and I don’t want anyone to forget it. In 2019 they did not have the qualified voter caveat and Omeish got a ton of people who couldn’t vote in the regular election to vote for her in the FCDC sample ballot process. They did change their rules as a result but that doesn’t change the fact that largely based on their endorsement she won.

Since 2019, FCDC has kicked out lifelong Dems, and did not allow anyone to join who was critical of the school board. They are in an echo chamber and further radicalizing. The ones left to sign a petition to endorse candidates are fringe left. Their only hope is to paint opposition as a extreme right wing.

Hey buddy. FCDC has not kicked out any members in the last four years. You are simply lying or don't know what you're talking about.

What lifelong dems have been kicked out of fcdc? Im a longtime member and question this assertion. There was the woman in the springfield district who wasnt allowed to join, the one who kept going on fox news talking about how the dem led schoolboard was awful and was leading the recall petition effort. Why would she be allowed to join?

DP. I have heard anyone who complained about the school closures was kicked out.

I think they should allow people who didnt support school closure.

Nobody has been kicked out of FCDC.

Stop lying. Nobody has been kicked out of FCDC. All of the meetings are on YouTube and I'd challenge you to point to a moment where a member has been removed.

DP. I think some people felt coerced to leave because they were dealt with so harshly when they voiced any criticism of the current School Board. And I see you don’t deny that they denied membership to anyone known to be critical.

So existing members may not have been formally expelled but it hasn’t exactly been a “big tent” environment, either. As PP said it’s come to feel like an echo chamber.

I don’t see how most people would be able to devote the time while holding a full-time job.

It's been posted on this forum that Moon was running. I don't see his name on the list.

Can you be more specific how the left is indoctrinating kids?

Well, did she tell us this when she ran for SB? As Seinfeld says, "not that this matters."

Honestly, does the sexual preference of an elected official matter? Or the date of when you learned their sexual preference?
