You can only resell verified tickets for face value or less + fees.

That’s never been the case for any artist or show. How would this be enforced and where are you getting this info?

It's on the Ticketnaster website.

Its said that for years now. Its not enforced.

These stadiums are very big - BUT I think this time around she was VERY strategic with holding back dates and addding them when there was evidence of demand.

You mean Reputation? Because LoverFest absolutely sold out but it was only 2 shows.

I got an email but no code. Has everyone who got an email also received their code? I’m losing hope.

What do you mean? I am new to all of this…

That means that Taylor couldn't sell all the tickets to her stadium tour because stadiums are enormous. She then had to give tickets away.

This time around, she decided to hold back dates until she could see there was enough demand for the tickets. By having us choose our top three dates, they can see what's likely to be sold.

Reputation was the first all stadium tour.

Waitlist email. Oh well

My daughter and I both signed up for the pre-sale. We put Philly, MetLife, and Pittsburgh down as our choices. I received an email at 330 today and a text an hour later for 5/13 in Philadelphia. She received an email 20 minutes ago that she is on a "waitlist" for the presale.

I have a capital one card - does that mean I can buy tickets tomorrow without a presale code? It seems like it but the website and wording is confusing.

Yes, the wording is very confusing. Your code is the first six digits of your card number. AFAIK, you can use it at 2 pm. I'm assuming that is 2 pm Eastern for me since I want to buy tickets in the Eastern time zone.

It's been terrible for every show I've tried to buy tickets for. Even the doomed Ocean's Calling fest in Ocean City, MD. The ticket price shot to like $212 as soon as they went on sale.

I fully expect for nosebleed seats to be in the $300 range.

Tickets are held back from the beginning specifically for these "charity" type lottery deals. It's good publicity. It's not usually because the artist couldn't sell out the stadium.

I worked for Live Nation for a few years and usually for a big stadium concert, around 2500 tickets were reserved to be distributed week of or day of to local groups and local radio stations.

If a stadium holds 70,000 for a football game, usually around 5,000-7,000 seats aren't included for a concert because they're obstructed view (behind the stage). As a general rule, each section at a stadium has 900-1200 seats.

So 70k seats - 6k obstructed view = 64k seats to start

Presale allotment is typically 40% of your venue so that's 26k seats. Those are then broken down into the different presale groups... season ticket holders at the venue, special credit card holders, presale codes, vips, etc.

If you go by this general rule, when the general public tickets go on sale Friday, there should be around 38-42k depending on each venue size. However, the general public sale is when the bots will snatch them and you'll find them for resale for $2,000+!

Help! My husband got on the list to buy but is really confused because Ticketmaster is showing LA as his city when he clicks on the emailed link. LA was his 3rd choice. Does that mean he can only buy LA tickets?

Another newbie question - underage DD is the one who got the verified confirmation. I'm the one with the Ticketmaster account. Do I need to create a new account using whatever email she used? Can I use mine with her link? Do I need her to verify a new account, etc. or for any reason tomorrow? She'll be in school so I'm going to be the one trying to get the tickets.
