Well they filmed almost a year ago, so guess we’ll find out next week!

Good point! I also heard they filmed season 2 and 3 back to back so maybe we won't have to wait an additional two years for the next one.

This season was definitely a whirlwind, and the finale was great. I was happy to see the outcome for everybody, except for Mallory and Salvatore who I thought would both say yes. I wonder if they truly meant it when they said they wanted to try to continue things after filming. They really seem to care for one another, and he is such a catch.

Unless they do a Bachelor in Paradise style spinoff this summer, I am glad never to have to see Shayne’s eyebugging Busey face and heat his hyena laugh again. Even him just walking across the room was like watching Kramer as a newborn colt (sans socks).

He is so awful. Couldn’t believe how he was talking about his stupid fitness regime and his Nobu reservation. Deepti was way too good for him and I’m so glad she realized it.

Who would go to that guy as their vet now? I would never trust an a$$ like that w/ my dogs!

Shayne just cannot be real….like I don’t run in circles that would expose me to a guy like that but what a pathetic child of a man. And he’s gross.

Shake is self-hating and wants a blonde white woman on his arm as a trophy because he believes the media messaging. Deepthi felt like home because she WAS home for him culturally and beyond.

And all that nasally hard breathing when he talked. But hey now he is free for Shaina to pounce. Hope he loves America!

He should have kissed the ground she walked on. What a catch, even willing to be the stable breadwinner for Mr “I don’t believe in 401ks.” Thank god she saw his true colors and said no.

Speaking of breadwinners, anyone know what Sal actually does for a living? Seemed like such a lovely guy but Mal’s family did have concerns about his relative lack of financial stability. Not Shane-level obviously.

His introduction for employment was tourism sales. I interpret that to mean “timeshare salesman “. Just a guess and not based on any evidence.

I was wondering with how much his singing and ukele playing was featured on the show, if Sal was actually there to get discovered. Which would explain the whole sketchy situation of the other woman showing up at his sister’s place insisting they were together and why he doesn’t end up ultimately choosing Mel.

Interesting theory, but I don't think there is ANY chance of him being offered a music career (LOL). I do think that they issues were far less than the other couples, so I did not see that "No" coming.

I don't see Shake as some kind of monster but I do think it is sad how he has internalized racist views, against his own race!

Shayne posted a quite lovely tribute to Natalie on his Insta. Seems he really loves her, reunion should be interesting.

An article mentioned his various jobs. Looks like he hasn’t held them for long, and mostly minimum wage a la front desk receptionist. So, some disconnect between his apparent maturity and lack of professional growth.

This was my guess because of how they never mentioned his actual job! I told my husband "he probably sells admission tickets or something." He reminded me a lot of artsy idealistic people I went to school with. A lot of us spent our 20s in low wage jobs because we "didn't value money" and were trying to make it in artistic or museum fields, or figure out what else to do. I don't think it's a sign of immaturity, i think it's a sign of having to reconcile your values and adapt over time.
