At some point the right wing decided it was OK to automatically and immediately label any news that was contrary to their narratives and worldview as "fake news." It's disturbing. Some of us are old enough to remember when the right wing didn't do that - Reagan, for example, famously said "trust, but verify." Today's right wing verifies nothing, they automatically trust their "trusted" sources and automatically and immediately label anything contrary as "fake" and "leftist." It's a retreat into delusional fantasy bubbles and echo chambers and allow bad actors to distort, lie and propagandize completely unchecked in any way whatsoever. How do we fix the broken right wing? |
Ironically, Reagan was the cause and/or beginning of so much right wing craziness. |
We heard nothing but "her emails" for 6 years.
We have a 38 page Coup powerpoint and the media has already moved on. If that doesn't tell you everything you need to know that the main stream media isn't "liberal" I don't know what will. |
There are still those who will argue with the point, but I agree. It’s obvious. |
+1 And Mark Meadows was using private email for government business as well. |
LOL, see the tweet above, there is inflation, but it isn't "runaway" inflation. You are a sucker for fake news. You are buying into the narrative. |
So, highest in how many years, and still rising? |
Understand why they no longer have social trust? I take issue with lying by omission, which the media in general tends to do a lot of. |
It is one thing to be covering news with a slant. It is another entirely to do what Fox and OAN did in terms of outright propaganda and gaslighting. |
