+100 I almost hope he does win. He's everything Democrats deserve. I still can't get past him saying he wanted to RAPE a home intruder to show his dominance. That's... something. |
Sorry, couldn't get past the bolded. DP |
And yet, no doubt Mainers were happy to weigh in on elections in other states, such as Youngkin, DeSantis, Paxton, etc. Funny. |
Ooh so scary! He said a bad *word* about a home intruder. So scary!! WOW. YOU REALLY GOT HIM!! /s/ |
Yes. Someone who serves our country in the armed forces is a hero. |
These are coordinated attacks |
Yes, obviously. I’m the PP. there were so many anti platner adds during game 4 of nba finals. Funded by the pine tree results PAC which is, no surprise, largely funded by out of state billionaires. |
Blackwater - where Platner worked - is a murderous mercenary group; they did not “serve our country.” |

As someone who actually lived in Maine when Collins first ran (and who worked for her opponent in that campaign), I think being honest people should acknowledge that Collins was encouraged by her constituents to run for a third term - and a fourth and fifth - and that she has enjoyed crossover support and strong support from swing voters for decades. It’s not inconsistent to have made a campaign promise regarding self imposed term limits and to fail to keep the promise when your constituents are begging you to stay in office and the results at the ballot box suggest it’s a widely held position. |
+1 This isn’t a great argument (although quit the Biden whataboutism - he never “pledged to only serve ONE term as president”) and the argument that she never ever holds town halls is a much stronger one. |
