Can anyone recommend an experienced ENT in the Bethesda/Chevy Chase area?
Have gone to Feldman ENT and not had a great experience (they rush you in and out and don't seem to care ) so looking for other recommendations. |

I went to Hopkins in Bethesda and did not love it. I know you are looking for good places yet wanted to let you know this place is not that great.
What do you need to have done? If you need audiology, Gail Lin is good and the Hopkins audiologists are good, too. |

Not in your area but my kids and I go to Metropolitan ENT in Alexandria. Very satisfied with the physicians and audiologists. And it’s been easy to make a neat term appointment, for ex vertigo issues and when my son broke his nose.

| Which docs werent you happy with at Feldman? We have been very happy with Jack Williams, Mark Dettelbach, and Natalie Earl. Both kids and adults in our family have had surgeries from Wiliams and Earl |

Chevy Chase ENT - Dr. Pryor Brenner
Takes his time; is very thorough; incredibly nice. The front desk staff is also very nice and organized. I highly recommend! A family member had a complicated surgery, and Dr. Brenner was amazing. https://chevychaseent.com/ |
| Love Jack Williams. |

OP here. Thanks for the recommendations. I saw Dettelbach at Feldman ENT but not happy with the experience. This is to deal with Menieres.
Can you switch to another Dr within the practice or is that frowned upon? |
We had an emergency and Dr Brenner fit us in that day. It was for very bad dizziness. Dr Brenner took his time and did a thorough exam, very patient with questions and the follow up we had with his office staff was efficient and warm. Really recommend him. Would not go to Feldmans. The practice was bought out from the original doctors that were great. It was a bad , expensive experience for both treatment and hearing aids. We're switching our whole family over to Dr Brenner. Plus, he works with Dr Linn for audiology. Great combo and relationship. |
Dr Jesica Shen is great. |
I also was not happy with Dettelbach. He rejected a diagnosis having to do with glands in the neck (so within his scope of practice), despite being asked about it directly and shown labs that supported the diagnosis. He was very cavalier about prescribing a medication to address a symptom of the missed diagnosis and said "everyone takes this medication when they get older." ( I was 55). Once properly diagnosed and after corrective surgery, the symptoms I had presented with (and for which he prescribed medication) disappeared within a few days. |
OP here. This all sounds very similar to my experience with him. Thanks to everyone for recommendations! |
| Huge fan of multiple docs at Feldman. |
| Feldman ENT all seems rushed, not personal. We like Chevy Chase ENT, Dr. Brenner and Dr. Winkler are both great. |
Would you mind saying which doctor(s) youve seen at the John Hopkins Bethesda location who you didn't like? |
