He rejected a diagnosis having to do with glands in the neck (so within his scope of practice), despite being asked about it directly and shown labs that supported the diagnosis. He was very cavalier about prescribing a medication to address a symptom of the missed diagnosis and said "everyone takes this medication when they get older." ( I was 55). Once properly diagnosed and after corrective surgery, the symptoms I had presented with (and for which he prescribed medication) disappeared within a few days. [/quote]
