Considering a tennis bracelet to incorporate as part of my everyday "uniform". I'm a mom of 2 and have an office job, so my time is split between computer work and running around the playground / other kid activities.
What size would you recommend and why? |

This is awesome.
I love DC. |

Nothing good comes from flashing wealth like this in the workplace as a woman unless you’re in a highly compensated role where comp is widely known / standardized - eg consulting or law partner or lobbyist.
And even in those cases, do you want to be wearing a $20K+ bracelet in client facing roles? |
You're living in the past. You can get a 7 ct tennis bracelet for ~$3k these days. |
Even cheaper by going with fake diamonds. You’re living in the past if you’re still buy real diamonds. |
I had the same thought, lol |
| I got 5ct and it’s great for everyday wear. |
To be fair, any conversation about a tennis bracelet is living in the past. |
DC area born and raised. When did NYC become DC? Tennis bracelet at work. Everything is upside down. I don't even know this city any more. |
| What’s the stereotype of someone who wears a tennis bracelet of this ct weight every day? I’m not clear on why you’d want to do this or why people are snarking on OP. |
It never ceases to amaze me how many people comment in the fashion forum who have zero idea about current trends. Tennis bracelets and necklaces are very much on trend now. |
Interesting. I’m the PP and am mid 30s. Didn’t know this unless you’re talking about lab diamonds. |
| Anything less than 14 carats is for trailer parks. And you'd only wear that trinket during the day of course. After dark, 25 ct or stay home, you peasant. |
| Mine is intentionally delicate looking, as I have 6" wrists and a very large net worth. IMO, larger carat diamonds look pretty fake, especially when one has to work for them. |
I am the person you are quoting. Same on both accounts. I miss my DC of yesteryeay |
