| Overwhelmed by the choices. Where did you stay within walking distance? |

We stayed at the Courtyard Pittsburg - University Center
100 Lytton Ave |
|
+ 1 for the Courtyard right there
The Oaklander is very nice, with top location, but rooms are small. Nice breakfast upstairs before touring though (make a reservation for b-fast). |
Ditto. Great location for Pitt and CMU. No complaints about our stay. |
+1 |
| Go to the pitt.edu site and search hotels (or maybe visit?), and you'll be able to book nearby hotels with a discount code. |
| Hilton Garden Inn is on Forbes Ave about a 15 minute walk to CMU, Pitt a tad closer. |
| Oaklander- I have a child at CMU and we stay here. It is on Pitt campus! |
| Oaklander was perfect for us. There was a promo code on the Pitt admissions site. It is located on the same block as the admissions building so location couldn’t be better and a lovely hotel. |
| We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn University Place. They gave us a late checkout as we had an afternoon tour. |
| We loved The Oaklander when we visited a few months ago! |

| Oaklander is ridiculously expensive - there are many others close to campus that cost 25% of the price. Use the Pitt website to get a discount at one of the others mentioned |
| There is a marriott I believe right there across from the Tower that was ideal. |
This was great for food options and seeing how the students hung out after class. Lots of activity on Forbes. |
