DD and I are having a movie night in and it feels like we’ve exhausted our options. We have Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max and YouTube. Any classics or recent discoveries? TIA

A new Looney Tunes movie on HBO. Wasn’t amazing but scratched a nostalgia itch for me and funny enough for my child.

Good call.

If one likes suspense, but not horror, then hard to beat "Hunt for Red October".

We tried to watch the Goonies and it was terrible. Turned it off after 10 minutes.
My tween enjoyed both Top Gun movies almost as much as I did

My DD loved Spirited Away and the other Studio Ghibli movies at that age. Also seconding Princess Bride - it never gets old. We recently watched Knives Out together and she was really into it.
