| DH & I are visiting London for our 20th anniversary. We're adventurous eaters. Our kids will be at sleepaway camp so this is a couples trip. Wondering where we should absolutely eat. We love Indian food and seafood, and one classic only-in-England meal would be fun. Help? |
| Food? In England? I dunno may some fish and chips and some meat pies. |

La Bodega Negra in Soho.
Don't let the seedy porn shop decor upstairs fool you. |

A visit to the various food markets is a must. There's a lot of social media to help you figure out what to try.
Borough Market is super touristy but some of the stuff is definitely worth it (don't get the chocolate covered strawberries, get the donut). Indian food is definitely a must. Dishoom is very famous but there are a ton of options ranging from high end to street food. Don't sleep on a good kebab. Especially if you go out drinking. |

Gymkhana in Mayfair is great for Indian.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were just there last week, so maybe it's going to become even more popular which is sort of annoying. Reservations are a must. |
| I would form a throuple with this couple😂😂😂😂 |
| Do a walking food tour when you’re there. We still talk about the churros we had on a tour in London a few years ago that we never would have known about if it weren’t for the tour. |
I did one in Rome I really enjoyed. It does let you try a bunch of small portions. This was the company I used. https://www.eatingeurope.com/london/ |
We went to Sketch for brunch and it was great - https://share.google/NMUFMUAfJ0EIMYUto |
Where is this? We have *never* found good Mexican in England, and my spouse if originally from there. |
| If you want Michelin star dining that is uniquely British, I suggest you check restaurants of Heston Blumenthal. |
DP but the only place I had legit authentic Mexican food was Mestizo on Hampstead Road. But it has been a decade since I lived there, so can't speak to anything recent. Back in the day, Chilango had good burritos. |
Definitely! We do walking food tours in every city we go to. We have done multiples of them in London. Definitely worth the experience |
