I hope that was sarcastic. I live in a wealthy Bethesda neighborhood. Crime happens everywhere, and it's understood that certain areas have more or less crime. But sometimes... this happens. |

Plenty of people online across platforms discussing that this is Rockville not Bethesda and North Bethesda is a construct that could be called South Gaithersburg. It seems that the location’s name is the biggest issue here! |

| I drove by on Rockville Pike soon after it happened. There were tons of police cars and a helicopter. Pretty unnerving that the shooter was (is?) still on the loose. |
