I see so much love for that show on Reddit...But I think it's awful! Anyone else feel that way? I've been to RI several times and had a great time and always thought of it as a really quaint, slightly upscale yet laid back state, like CT but better. They make it look like the Jersey Shore and are not likeable people.

I’ve given up all the housewives since the NY reboot. Nothing fun about them.

I tried and couldn't get through the second episode. None of these women are likeable and I have a hard time telling them apart.

Pauly D on Jersey Shore was from Johnston. Rhode Island has a lot of Jersey Shore types. It's not all the East Side of Providence and Little Compton.

I haven't watched anything since Potomac (was there >1 Potomac? I only saw the shitshow that was the first one).

Ladies of London is fantastic. And I still like Utah though not this past season.

I really like it and I also still watch RHOC, RHOBH, and I think RHSLC is the best. Also loved Ladies of London. Hope it returns.

Pretty good series. I didn't have high hopes for it, but some of the women are real characters.

It's like a nicer version of RHONJ.

WASPs would never agree to be on these shows. Discretion is a point of pride.

White ethnics clamoring for status fit in perfectly with these shows.

Same. It's really, really boring. I lived in Newport for 6 months and none of the people are like that there and they don't talk like that. YOUSE?! RI isn't NJ or Philly ffs.
