How much did you spend on your wedding?

Do you have any regrets about the cost of it? What would you have spent less on?

$5k all in, ~15 years ago. We bought rings, eloped and spent a week on vacation for that price. No regrets whatsoever.

$45k 8 years ago, 150 people, in DC. My parents paid for it. No regrets, it was an amazing and lovely day.

$10K, 100 guests, ten years ago. I wouldn't change a thing-- the things that mattered to me were perfect, and I don't regret not spending more money on coordinating chair covers or a pricier dress or whatever. We ate and danced and had a fantastic time.

$100k or maybe a little more. We had 160ish people. 15 years ago. My parents paid for it but they have no regrets as it was a really fun wedding and weekend overall. Money was not an issue for them; otherwise we’d never have spent that.

Between $20-25k 17 years ago. Had roughly 100 guests because of a large family. My parents helped with about 10k which was incredibly generous of them.

I could've written this exact thing, PP. In all honesty I have no idea what the total was all said and done. My husband and I sent ~$25K of our own money on wedding stuff and honeymoon, but my parents paid for most of the wedding (at a downtown DC hotel) and easily spent more than $100K. If I had to do it again I maybe wouldn't spend that much on the day, but my parents wanted to have a big party and they ultimately decided on the venue.

Maybe $6000 back in 2009. We had a small ceremony at a VFW-type hall, catered by them, with open bar, for 30 people.

If I had to do it over again, I would have just eloped.

No regrets! I loved everything about it. We made that much in wedding gifts.

+1 same price but 200 guests. No regrets, it was the best day.

About $6000. 17 years ago. No regrets but if I had to do it again I would have spent less.
