| This school seems to be becoming more popular. Why? I've seen more kids from this area going there. When I first heard of it, it was mostly a regional school that was solid. |
| My kid applied as a safety. Solid school but wasn’t their first choice. They heard it was a big party school. Not sure how true that is. |
| My richest uncle (multi millionaire $$$) is an alum, as are all my uncles. It’s a great school and lots of fun too. Great city! |
| Conservative college |
Clearly you know nothing about PC |
| It's a Dominican college. Dominicans are among the most conservative Catholic orders. (One of them is responsible for the conversion of JD Vance.) PC has stricter dorm rules than most colleges, including most Catholic colleges. |
| I think it is like Fairfield and Elon, solid school that was known regional and is now getting more recognition. |
| Also curious about Fairfield. It has become quite popular in the northeast. Anyone want to explain why? |
Primarily because the other more well known colleges in New England are considerably more difficult to get into. |
I think pc is in the same boat as Fairfield. Lots of catholic schools and kids in dmv with money, bc has become very hard to get into and Villanova is following in its wake. And they both are drivable, Amtrakable, or very easy and cheap flights. |
Clearly YOU don't know anything about PC |
The Fairfield dorms went viral a few months ago. |
| Wow. Those senior beach houses seemed pretty sweet to me and my husband when we toured, but DC chose elsewhere, to our befuddlement! |
Fairfield hits way above its weight in finance placement. |
Aren't those the beach houses that upperclassmen rent, not dorms? |
