I park on the street and then walk up. Much faster.

Then, too much. I line up about 20 minutes before dismissal. So 25 minutes I guess.

I show up 5 minutes after the bell and join the tail end of the line. I spend probably 2-3 minutes total.

I drop off a block away because the parking lot is madness in the AM for whatever reason. Afternoon pick up time is fine as long as I get there early.

What is driving parents to "pick up" by car on a regular basis?
A. Insecurities?
B. Lack of trust in the bus drivers?
C. Fear someone will tease your kiddo?
D. Nothing better to do?
E. Show off your shiny, ginormous luxury SUV?
F. Desire to pollute the air and add to street traffic?
G. All of the above

Don’t live far enough from school to qualify for a bus, and can’t leave in time to walk due to work schedule?

My kids go to a private school that doesn't offer bus service.
