Curious. I am a right-leaning moderate and I think I should just put conservative but I see a lot of anti Trump and anti-maga dating profiles which is weird to me because what place does politics have in dating and swiping? It's all supposed to be good and fun. But anyway, I'm worried that I will get maybe revenge reported or the conversation turns to politics but then again I would prefer to date someone who is either conservative or moderate or apolitical or not a far left person. I am also non white and in real life most people assume and I don't know if it's because I'm not white that I am automatically a Democrat. So do you put down your political party or no?

I would not mention politics immediately if I were you. I wouldn't try to persuade people who say they hate Trump to date you. A small percentage of them may like you but most won't and most will find your politics annoying or offensive.

What do politics have to do with swiping?? MAGA is unf&ckable as far as many women are concerned, including me. Dating is supposed to be all in good fun, sure. You know what's not fun? It's not unreasonable for people to not want to date MAGA and Trump supporters. Miraculously, Trump is still polling around 30-35 percent. Those people can date each other. But the rest of the population would prefer you are upfront about your politics and not waste people's time. A Trump supporter in 2026 is going to be a hard no for a majority of people.

As to what it has to do with dating, I think it is just that some people don't want to end up with people who are so ethically compromised that they would be willing to overturn democracy.
