If you are a high earner making $500K or more than below what $ range of income you would avoid? I say $200K unless she is very attractive and excellent in bed.

Give it some time, you don't have anything invested yet. His options are still open unless you are keeping him happy in other places.

It depends. If she has debt or liabilities then lower salary means after her own expenses, she'll add nothing to your household, might as well get a no debt, no obligations educated SAHM who can actually be home and contribute with childcare, cooking, logistics and mental load to give you flexibility to do more in your career.

If you earn upward of 500k/year then probably your networth is upward of a couple of millions and spouse's earnings aren't a need but a want. You can want less, more or none.

High earning men don’t care about how much money women make.

A high earning man or a woman doesn't need to care what partner makes. They are looking for a fit that is much harder to find.
I smell rigid thinking.

The ones who do probably have a spending problem and are looking for a woman to help them make ends meet. You don't want to be that woman.

My father was a CEO, at the age of 40, at the time he married my mother who was 26 at the time in 1995. They got married two months after my mother graduated from UCLA with about 45K in student loan debt while my father made 3M/yr in 1995. My father always said that marrying my mother was, and still is the best decision of his life. Men with money do not care how much women make.

It's just a gender-reversal thread spun off from others here that ask what a man should earn and everyone takes seriously.

Yeah, they do. Pretty Woman was just a fantasy.

Who cares? It's called a pre-nup.
