Top Old Dominion Region clubs?

I don't follow ODR at all, but I wonder what clubs are usually considered to be at the top. If I didn't know any better, I would think Five-Four-Zero and Richmond Volleyball or East Coast Volleyball rise to the top. Does that seem correct? Any other clubs come to mind?

By the way, where does Five-Four-Zero usually practice? I'm sure I could look at their website, but someone here may already know more.

What age group, OP? You can run searches on AES for rankings by region and age group. Here's girl's' U16: https://www.advancedeventsystems.com/rankings/Female/U16/aes

My list would be ECVC, 540, then RVC OR SERV, probably in that order, but there are a handful of clubs right around that same talent.

540 practices in Fredericksburg off Warrenton Road.

My question was meant to be general across all age groups. We typically regard three or four CHRVA clubs to be somewhat consistent among the top in the area. I don't know if ODR has a similar group of clubs.

ECVC and 540 are probably the consistently better clubs, but no, they are not as competitive by far against CHRVA clubs.

I think you have the top 3 correct. Beach Elite in Virginia Beach used to sometimes have some solid teams, but it seems like they merged with another club to become 757, and I don't see them with any highly ranked teams.

One interesting note, is that a some of the stronger ODR players end up traveling far to play for more competitive clubs out of ODR. The 2025 VA Gatorade Player of the year is from the Roanoke area and played for NC Academy. There was also a 2025 player from Charlottesville who switched from RVC to Metro for 17s and 18s.
