| The series came out today on Apple+ and it’s a stacked cast. Really well done. The book was a 5-star read for me so was looking forward to this adaptation. |
| I want to see it. Glad to see MP in something |
| Didn’t know it was a show, the book sucked imo |
Yes, except she ruined her face just like nicole kidman did. If she's just aged normally, she'd still be beautiful. Her lips look so stupid. |
She's in the terrible Tyler Sheridan show The Madison, and it just gor renewed for season 2 |
| I read the book and I would give it 3 stars. I don’t plan to watch the movie, |
I’m wondering if it’s part of the character though. She’s supposed to be a lower class older woman - she might have cheap filler. The work doesn’t look great and Michelle has always been natural so it might be character. I’ll have to go on her Instagram. |
I read the book and thought MP was a bit old to be cast as Margo's mother. I love seeing older actors working and really wish they would keep their original faces, but MP could be Margo's grandmother. |
She was also in the holiday movie last year. Oh.What.Fun |
Yeah, agree. Of course MP is married to David E. Kelley who is producing and directing this soooo….. |
I don't think she's done much. Pretty sure her lips are just makeup. |
|
I actually think Michelle is perfectly cast because she is a 67-year-old very beautiful celebrity. She looks great for 67 but she’s likely playing someone closer to 55 and she looks more realistically like a rough 55.
I do not think we are supposed to believe she’s late 60s. Nick Offerman is 55 and could pass for older. Michelle is 67 but could pass for younger. I think these two are supposed to be around the same age somewhere mid to late 50s having had Margot very young. |
| I cannot believe how much I love Nick Offerman the more I see him in stuff. I never watched Parks and Rec. but man he is fantastic in these first episodes. |
|
I’ve been seeing the AppleTV ads for this show and something’s been bugging me.
In the ads, there’s a clip where someone texts her: “your one looks like a cute garden gnome” and then another clip has a similar text talking about her “one”. Is “one” a euphemism? Is this only fans lingo or something? |
He is amazing, and I love that he is married to Megan, who played Karen on Will and Grace. |
