Do you wear Brooks running shoes?

I need your help. DH is taking me on a surprise vacation to a domestic desert location this summer, and I’ve been given a wardrobe budget. (I swear this is not my normal life!) I wear a lot of thrift store clothes and he wants me to look beautiful. His preferred look is cute dresses and sneakers. I do not own the kind of sneakers that will pair well with cute dresses and I’m hours away from a Nordstrom. Generous gift card in the mix since I don’t really spend my own money on clothing.

If you wear Brooks, what cute sneakers are comfortable on you? I can spend up to $400 on sneakers.

Maybe I’m not reading correctly, if you are asking people who wear Brooks, what other cute sneakers are good on them I can give you that. For non-athletic outfits, or walking and vacation sneakers, I like Veja Campo, New Bslance 327, and just recently gave up and bought the very popular (my kid says “basic”) adidas Sambas.

The Brooks sneakers that I wear are adrenaline GTS. They are super comfortable but definitely for running and not “cute” for a non-athletic look. I got fitted at a running store 10 years ago and I buy a new pair of the every year. (I love how they offer new color ways and update them just slightly every year and the name is the year - duh

Try vionic. Very good support and good for walking. You can get a lot from Amazon and return easily.

Vionic poster here. My go to walking sneaker for not looking cute but being comfortable is also the Brooks Adrenaline as well. But it super chunky and not cute. All function.

I love Vionics. But my favorite brand is Naot. It is expensive but in your budget.

I wear Brooks. I got Adidas VL Court 3.0 Shoes and wore them all over Europe with dresses. Yeah basic, I suppose, but they were so comfortable and I thought they looked cute with dresses and skirts.

Why do you want sneakers not sandals? What activities are you going to be doing? It's very hot in the desert in the summer. Are you going to Scottsdale? It will be 115. Sandals might be more comfortable.

I wear Brooks running shoes. But that's because I have bunions. My feet belong in a museum next to the Elephant Man skeleton. Nike or Adidas won't even bother making shoes to accommodate feet as hideous as mine. So it's amusing to hear someone insist on Brooks running shoes to look cute. But they do have a good selection of extra wide shoes. And you can insert some orthopedic inserts for that extra special look.

I wear Brooks for long walks but will wear Taos sneakers for every day, cuter wear. They have a lot of arch support, which makes them comfortable for me but a much lower profile

I was going to suggest keen or croc sandals, but then I saw you asked for cute. I don’t think those fits into the cute category.
