Told my PCP today that I'm on a microdose of compounded tirzepatide. He's supportive but recommended switching to ordering direct through Eli Lilly. He understands the compounded is cheaper but feels getting it direct is safer.
Has anyone had a better experience / better results with taking it straight up from Eli Lilly? Right now I'm ordering through Ellie MD. It's okay, but I hate the MLM aspect and the communicaiton is definitely sub par / sketchy. |
| Have had a good experience with Eli Lilly. Simple, reasonable price given I am micro-dosing as well. |
| Lilly Direct is so easy to use. They do everything via text and it’s really quick and efficient, I’ve been very pleasantly surprised. |
| Great to hear about Lilly Direct. I wonder if it's more effective than what you get from some of the compounding pharmacies. Also wonder if the price will go down in the future as demand increases. |
| I’ve ordered from many compounding pharmacies and never had a problem. Their data are numbered so I just ordered 9 months worth again. I’ll do Lilly direct if compounding ends |

I'm sorry what? You are ordering compounded terzepitide through a Multi-Level Marketing program? Or do you just not know what MLM means and you're confusing it with "online doctor"?
I order from Lilly Direct and feel better about buying the real medicine directly from the manufacturer. I don't trust compounders, you just don't know what they are putting into your medicine along with the terzepitide. |

What is the best way to get started?
Get an Rx from your GP and try direct or a compounding place? Or do something on Noom vs Hers vs Rx Pros? Are prices running $79/mo or $159/mo and for which ones? |
| It is easy to use but it is really expensive. I would be curious to know where you are getting the compound. |

Eli Lilly Direct. I don't trust the compounding pharmacies with this. It's one thing to get a cream compounded, but an injectable?
Anyway, try Midi Health. They're great and easy to work with and will send a scrip straight to Lilly. $300/mo for lowest dose which works great for microdosing. |
I don't think prescription injectable meds are the best place to bargain shop. |
There are tons of tablet and micro dose options for $150 per month. Has anyone here compared them or is Reddit better for this and more active? |
Interesting. And prices are only coming down, as are their sky high margins. |
| Reddit is definitely better for this. |
I need to research. Currently paying way too much. |
| Check the menopause threads too, lots on various micro dosing and 10 pounds weight loss options tablets or shots. |
