Agree with this, also all of the graphic novels in the library. Seriously, my 11 year old boy has even read the Babysitters Club graphic novels but I'm not supposed to tell anyone that.

Yep. Can't get enough of Percy Jackson and friends. I think there's 3 5 book sets.

After Rick Riordan we've had a hard time finding things he likes. He's doing Warriors now, but I'm not sure he actually likes them that much, lol. There's a bunch of "Rick Riordan recommends" that are usually a good bet.
He's also reading James Ponti (City Spies and Sherlock Society)
There's also 32 Clues and Mysterious Benedict Society

My son read the American Girls books as a nine year old. He denies it as a teen.

Do you mean that he was always a reluctant reading and just likes Rick Riordan, or he's become so obsessed with Riordan books that he won't read other things anymore?

The Impossible Creatures Series by Katherine Rundell. There are 2 books out now and a third that will be released in September.
