Headache behind the eyes?

Anonymous
Haven't gotten this in a while but it's back again.

Throbbing pain in my eyelids and tense jaw, cheeks, neck, and back. Usually I would get it in past if dehydrated or hungry but my diet, sleep, water intake, and activity levels are same as usual.

Your sinuses can be blocked without you having a runny nose.

I drown myself with drinking water, and pop 2 red pseudoephedrine. The ones you have to get from the pharmacist. I also do an ice pack if needed. Usually altogether that will help and often eliminate it.

Does that cause a racing heart?

not OP but it seems allergy related since sinuses are involved...

Sounds like what migraines feel like for me. I didn't get any for about 10+ years while I was being pregnant/nursing, but then I guess once hormones settled back down, they returned.

Sinus or migraine.

I get this too. It’s awful.

I also get this. Allegra D or Zyrtec D is the best. When I can't take the decongestant (currently pregnant), Arm and Hammer saline spray helps a lot (neti bottles are a mixed bag for me, sometimes they help and sometimes they make it worse).

Also a warm compress on the forehead/nose area helps. Also when my sinuses are bad a cup of hot coffee can help.
