Mid priced - like Pottery Barn/Crate and Barrel or less.

Where do you like to go, especially if you aren’t great at decorating and don’t know exactly what you want.

Following ... we are in the market for furniture having moved into a new house.

We enjoyed walking around Green Front in Manassas. We didn't buy any furniture but did end up buying a rug. They have a huge complex in North Carolina that we might visit.

Belfort has a lot to see.

Greenfront - you have to go to the huge complex. Manassas is small. Also look at Arhaus.

No matter where you go, it will go so much better if you figure out the floorplan first. Measure the room, measure anything you're keeping, and take that to a store with free design services. Or a few. Room and Board, Ethan Allen, Ballard, etc etc. Use the free designs to figure out your floorplan. How big the couch needs to be. The coffee table. The rug. Etc etc. Don't worry at all about the actual things they recommend - just the dimensions. THEN go furniture shopping. Then and only then.
