Why do "influencers" move right?

Anonymous
It's certainly not because the population has moved right over the past decade or so, but it seems social media "influencers" have shift right whether it be Russell Brand, Joe Rogan, Jimmy Dore, Ana Kasparian etc. What is it about social media influencer or podcaster that attracts them to the right.

Dark money. Hatred is addictive. Outrage sells. An audience that won’t demand facts.

People on the right are easily manipulated so they are an easy source of cash. Just check out the advertisements on any right wing show or channel. All kinds of BS health pills, coins, crypto, reverse mortgages, timeshares, etc.

MONEY, MONEY, AND MORE MONEY.

This.

When people make a lot of money, their thinking often shifts. They think they earned their money through their hard work, not through hard work AND luck. So they want to protect what they've gotten and see others as less deserving.

These.

They pay them and they like money more than they like their country.

Obvious answer: MONEY

Influencers don’t have any morals or principles. They just jump on the latest bandwagon.

Influencers can only influence the ignorant. Which is the right.

I'm not sure you understand what some of these people believe. They're part of the new political culture in America. They might seem right to you because you have differing views on your core issues but many have left views on other issues.

Old school Democrats think that everyone has to agree on every single issue. Or else you're out of the party. It's why it's hard to win national elections for Democrats unless the other side screws up so badly that people vote for change.

Ana Kasparian didn’t “move to the right.” She rejected being called a birthing person and was vilified by the left for admitting she was sexually assaulted by a homeless person. Apparently, unless you embrace being sexually assaulted by a person with less privilege than you you’re a bad person to some people.

Her statements would be a nothing burger when sensible centrist Democrats like Obama were in power, but since the left wing lunatics have the loudest microphone now on the Democrat side of the aisle her 100% reasonable takes are coded as “moving to the right.”

Stuff like this is why I refuse to vote anymore. I hate Trump but will not align with the crazies on the left either. Sorry.
