Got the latest. announcement saying they previously said June 26 is the last day. No they actually said June 25. So now it's June 26 due to the Eid change? What the full days that week? What are the half days?
The calendar on the MCPS site still has the old calendar before they started announcing changes. Please help! |
| No one? |
| We had another snow day on Feb 23. So they added one more day to the calendar to end on Friday June 26. This was announced a few days after that snow day. |
| I can't keep up either. Just do what you want to do for that last week of school. And send your kid for a half day on the 15th, even though the marking period will have ended on the 14th. |
| One of those June days is closed for voting. It's not June 19th obviously.. |
| under discussion here https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/240/1315611.page |
| Don't need the discussion just need the days! So is it full days all week? |
Where was it announced? Not in an MCPS blast email because the last one I have in my inbox says June 25 |
|
One long blahblah. April 15th is now early release instead of being closed for students.
|
| The last day will be Thursday June 18. |
What? |
They won't have enough days. The 22nd or 23rd will be the last day. |
| They’re counting on the state legislature passing the reprieve bill. They’re purposefully being vague because they’re hoping they get out of adding the last week. |
| They have an agreement with MSDE to add in April 15 so they can end before Juneteenth. Opening schools the following week adds an additional almost 2 million per day to the budget. |
As it stands right now though they haven’t gotten the waiver and the legislature hasn’t acted. They still have to go until June 25 unless one of those two things happen |
