I have a colonoscopy scheduled for end of March. GI doc suggested Gatorade and MiraLAX because the volume to drink is more BUT the MiraLAX is tasteless and I can prep ahead and make the drinks cold.
Taking all suggestions to make this as easy as possible. I get migraines and hypoglycemia and any tips or tricks or weird suggestions - please share! I did read to get some Vaseline in case my rear is sore lol. |

Ask your Dr for SuTab and Zofran. Good luck! |

Again? Do people not use the search tab to find the previous threads on the same topic?

| Google low residue diet |
| I mixed with coconut water instead of Gatorade. Lower calorie and tastes better |
| Is your doctor suggesting all the meds be OTC? I had a very easy process with the Rx called ClenPiq. No need for "extra vaseline" as you referred to up thread. |
| I cannot tolerate the liquid prep and do the pills, much easier imo. |
| Ask your doctor for the pills. |
| My Toto bidet toilet saved me! |

OP here. I admit I didn’t use the search feature for previous discussions on this. I will now.

Don't over think things.
If you have kids, just check yourself into a hotel by the hospital the day before. |

LOL at the hotel suggestion.
I just did SuPrep (liquid) with Sprite. Tasted nasty but wasn't that much volume and did the job. You don't really need to buy anything b/c you can't eat anything lol. It sounds from what I've heard that the tabs are easier going down but can induce some awful nausea - two people told me that. I think for that reason I'd just stay with the Suprep liquid. Colonoscopy was a breeze, plan to be able to nap after it - I was extra tired, but totally back in action the next day. |
| Get yourself some flowers for the bathroom since you'll be spending more time than usual in there. |
| A Toto washlet. You're welcome! |
