Very sad. ODU is a popular destination for athletes from the area. Norfolk is not a city I'd want my child living in.

Oh shut up geed. If your first instinct when tragedy strikes is to make it political, you're not the good guy.

I am not the PP but the decision to make guns easily accessible and mental health care difficult to access are political choices, so when gun violence occurs at schools it's inherently political.

This could happen at Christopher Newport and would have nothing to do with it being in Newport News. Gun violence can happen anywhere, any day. And it is increasingly happening on college campuses, even in seemingly “safe” towns.
