| Curious if people still have magazines for reading in their bathrooms. I can’t remember the last home I saw them in. Maybe 2004? Gosh, it’s been decades. |
Do you consider yourself astute? Seriously the most inane thread of all time. Are you in the bathroom with your phone? |
| I didn't grow up with that and have never done it. 49 yrs old. |
| Yes, in case of emergency. |
| Sometimes I'll throw an alumni magazine or a catalogue in the bottom drawer of our powder room but not really. My parents do but some of the magazines at their summer house have been there since the 80s. |
| I only really remember this at my piano teacher's house in the 1980s.... |
Op here. You do realize it has been 22 years since 2004. I never have my phone in the bathroom at a guests house. We never had them at my home but nearly every house I was a guest at would have them. You take your phone with you to the bathroom when you’re at someone’s house for a brief stay? Not when you shower and do your routine but when I’m at a house for the day, I don’t take my phone. |

Eww….
I remember it used to gross 🤮 me out when I would see magazines displayed in people’s bathrooms. Lol. I just imagined that they were used when someone was taking a bubble bath so my visual was clean!

NP, but of course, where else would I put it? It's with me at all times, usually in my back pocket. I don't poop in other people's houses unless emergency, that's what magazines are for. To read while you poop. I don't read or use my phone for a pee. |
+1 It's so trashy. |
Same but mid 50’s. I have seen it in homes of some friends and family but it’s not something I would ever do. |
| My kids have magazines in the kids' bathroom but not in the master bath or guest bath/powder room. |
| what....else do you do while you're sitting there? |
This. Yuck. |
| Grew up with it. Grossed out a bit now. Do use my phone in bathroom but it’s before my hands touch anything — once the toilet roll is in play, phone is away! |
