Such an ugly house and a giant tower in the back! WDYT it will sell for? I think $960. |
| The tower would be a huge deterrent for me, but I think this house could be nice for a small family. I think the kitchen is pretty, but very lacking in storage. |
| Adding some landscaping out front would do a lot for the ugliness. |
I agree. Why are there no cabinets? And that ladder to the loft would be dangerous. It's cute, though, and in a good location, so I bet it will sell for at least $1 million. Because that's Arlington real estate these days! |
| Its a tear down. It will sell for over 1m. |
| It looks like a guest house for a much larger house! |
No upper kitchen cabinets is a sure sign that a house was cheaply flipped. |
That lot is definitely not worth more than 1m |
because we'll all become spoilt rotten in this country. My mom, born in the 1950s, grew up in a ~950sf house with four kids and a single family car and that was the middle class norm. Now it feels like child abuse if you have kids sharing a bedroom after a certain age. |
| This looks more like an Airbnb rental rather than something suitable as a permanent residence. |
| Seems about right to me. |
| Idk we paid similar for a small original house in the same area and the tax assessed value for the land alone is $950K. |
It's illegal to rent an air bnb in Arlington unless it's your primary residence, so even that use for this house is out! That being said, the price looks right, but what's uniquely bad about this lot is the tower is right next door. Idk how that will factor into the selling price. |
| No upper-level kitchen cabinets would be a deal breaker. |
| Super cheap renovations. The kitchen is terrible! Why doesn’t Redfin include the sale history.—That’s unusual. |
