| Goofball in gimmicky shirts kills me. Dont forget the bandana! |
| I cannot imagine a grown up man who has to proclain that he is " brilliant" on a tee shirt. |
When someone has to insist and proclaim how smart, talented, or amazing they are they are usually super mid and average. Oh, and also super insecure. |

Jamie and Kristen also stepped away from trying to make money through social media, and seem to have normal jobs that don't rely on selling products or winning followers or constant internet attention-seeking. I am sure that influenced the kind of people they attracted. Jen is a chronically online attention whore so it's not a surprise that's who she is dating. |
Don't forget black. Never forget black. The black man with no black friends. |
Good night the bandana! Such an outlaw. Except he will roast an old white lady who gets nervous when he and his bandana come trundling down the sidewalk. Stay classy, Sass. |
Jamie's new guy seems to make enough for them to travel and have a nice life together. I don't see her mentioning any work but she does volunteer with some great orgs up in her neck of the woods. She teased another book in her IG bio but that's on the way back burner. Kristen has ample work as a counselor, esp here in SoCal with all the sober living facilities. I'm not certain what her boyfriend does. Interesting that both she and Jamie had podcasts (Kristen much longer than Jamie) but those stopped at least a year or two ago. Tara is one of Jen's friends whose journey I would LOVE to read about. Teenage parenthood, meeting Troy while working at Target, going to the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere to set up a maternity clinic (for years, during environmental and political and economic unrest) plus adopting 3 Haitian children. |

Awake came out a little over two months ago.

| Yall act like you’ve never had a questionable rebound before. It’s normal. |
My questionable rebound lasted approximately one month. Then I woke up. (Which is ironic considering Jen’s new slogan is being “awake”.) |
|
For all her awake talk, Tyler is a walking, talking blind spot in her life.
Aren’t rebounds typically short-lived, like less than a year? I wish Tyler had been a rebound for her. |
I think you can quit with these. We get it, it's not doing well. But it's starting to sound like gloating or rooting for another woman's failure. |
I disagree. I like the updates. Especially considering that Jen is hyping up her book sales and bragging about her awards and accolades. This is a good pulse check on the reality of the situation. |
| I've seen this thread but never opened it because I don't know who Jen Hatmaker is or why she warrants more pages of threads than Hilaria Baldwin (who is fascinating if deranged). Then I listened to this podcast called Unicorn Girl and learned that Jen Hatmaker had a Facebook page that you had to apply and be accepted to (........ ok). And this con artist was among the most active members. Good podcast but not great PR for Ms Hatmaker |
