| Anyone watching this series starring Rachel Weisz and Leo Woodall? It's similar to Fleabag but not as good. Leo Woodall seems to always play the object of someone's obsession/affection. I'm only 3 episodes in so hopefully it gets better. |

I was home from work yesterday and watched the whole thing. I like it but I think it could have been half the length. It got really repetitive.
And Rachel Weisz looks remarkable for 55. I'm 52 and kind of obsessed with watching deep plane facelift accounts online and I would love to know if she is just some extreme outlier (she has no sagging whatsoever unlike every single (like dozens of) woman I know my age+ in real life) or perhaps she's had a very good refresh. Surgery is remarkable these days. I sent the entire show wondering this. |
| It could have been awful, but Rachel Weisz is THE most gorgeous woman, intelligent, funny and just a pleasure to watch, so she makes it enjoyable. Vladimir actor is always just passable to me, sort of doughy looking in the face and without a great body or appeal. Maybe he was meant to be just more attractive than average considering the men around her at that crusty rural college. |
| I liked it but it was odd. |
| She’s really hot. Hard to believe that she’s 55. |
| She was fantastic in this. Carried the entire show. Well, her and the set design and clothes. |

Agree about marveling over her looks. I do not know how she looks that amazing at her age. It's very rare to see someone looking like that without some signs of plastic surgery.
It's either a brilliant surgeon or blessed genetics. Probably the latter. |
I have no idea what she did or not have done but have you seen deep plane facelifts lately? They are absolutely bloody remarkable. No signs of surgery, no oddly stretched skin, no weird pulled look, nothing. Just a clean jawline, flawless cheekbones. They are commonly done with skin resurfacing and fat transfer so a typical patient will look completely natural but 20+ yrs younger. They work best if you get them late 40s, early 50s. Only issue is that the are commonly 100-150K. Women who look weird have used injectables. Hollywood actresses who seem frozen in time have had really good deep-plane surgical work. |
| I agree that whatever work she's had done is good. But I still found it distracting because she doesn't quite look like the actress I remember from 15-20 yrs ago who was not only gorgeous but had a unique look. |
| Lots of filler. Looks better than most people who get filler, but still very obvious. |
Thanks, I didn't know this. I'll have to do some more research! |
| She does look amazing! Yes, she has had work. |
I wonder if Winona Ryder had that done. She looks the same as she did in her 30s. That can’t be natural, but it certainly looks it. |
I saw a pic of Winona Ryder recently and she looked scary. Like an old person trying to be young and it was obvious she had a facelift. Not cute anymore. |

Is the male lead really meant to be someone people are lusting after? But why? He seems so boring. Like a fratty white boy. You would think a literature professor would go after someone a bit more swarthy and exotic. His wife seemed a lot more interesting, also he didn’t seem particularly Slavic. In my mind ai was picturing a young Baryshnikov.
Also I was curious as to what fictional college this was meant to be taking place at and the author was a professor at Skidmore - in case you are wondering. |
