What do you use for your daily dinnerware? I never registered for any as we already had a full set but after 30 years and moving to a more transitional setting, I'd like something new. Grateful for suggestions. TIA.
I prefer porcelain as it’s not prone to chipping. My favorite is from a French line but anything from a crate and barrel or bloomies kitchen would work. I posted on another thread that the cheap set I ‘ve had for 29 years refuses to die.
Corelle.
Pillivuyt plain white.
East Fork.
Crate and Barrel Roulette. Porcelain. Very durable.
We use a porcelain set from Lennox.
I love mine from Made In
Us too. Working on 28 years. |
I got some of the Gladelig from ikea and absolutely love them. They look like fancy ceramic type ones but are super durable and come out great in the dishwasher.
Using the same Corelle set for 25 years now!
We’ve had our Denby for 20 years and have only replaced two bowls. Full service for 12. Love it.
This is what I use Ikea for--they have a decent set of white plates, bowls, etc. and they're sturdy, attractive and cheap.
We got noritake color wave for our wedding over 20 years ago. As they have broken or chipped we’ve replaced them with ikea. It’s about half and half now.
Heath ceramics. Durable and great glazes.
